We invite you to bring your exceptional administration skills and experience to the part time (24 hour) Executive Assistant (EA) role at Volunteering Gold Coast (VGC) to help shape our dynamic not-for-profit organisation.

VGC’s mission is to extend the impact of services and programs through a volunteering movement that empowers purposeful, connected and inclusive communities. This is undertaken through a number of service arms including Transport, Disability and Aged Care Services, and Community Volunteering.

This role is a true partnership role and will have a range of projects that will be solely managed by the EA; including events management, internal projects and process improvement initiatives.

role requirements

Supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the EA will:

  • Ensure the efficient operation of the CEO and Board offices through high-level administration and organisational skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information in all dealings associated with VGC and its stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support including; Board preparation and management, scheduling, minutes, organising catering and drafting communications.
  • Coordinate projects as required, including staff and volunteer events

We are looking for an experienced administration professional, who brings:

  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role.
  • Certificate III – Business Administration or higher, or significant experience.
  • A dynamic, adaptable and proactive approach with a high performance attitude.
  • Excellent time management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with the CEO, board members and the VGC wider team.
  • A current driver’s licence.
  • Working rights in Australia.
