Very Special Kids provides holistic care for Victorian families facing the potential death of a child with a life limiting condition. We provide; counselling and emotional support for the whole family, medically supported respite care and end of life care and long-term bereavement support. Our free-of-charge services help more than 850 families across Victoria, with ongoing support, from the child’s diagnosis all the way through to bereavement or the child joining adult services.

We are currently seeking a proven business development professional to develop and nurture strategic corporate partnerships and grow a robust portfolio of new relationships with corporate businesses to increase revenue generated from donations, sponsorships, workplace giving, cause related marketing and gift in kind.

Ideally you will come from a NFP or community-based organisation and have strength in successfully managing programs in one or more of the disciplines of fundraising, particularly corporate partnerships. Alternatively, you may come from a business development or sales role in the corporate sector and bring with you a strong network of corporate contacts and a demonstrated ability to meet targets. People describe you as someone who builds a rapport easily and your proven communication and negotiation skills enable you to identify opportunities and maximise financial results.
