At Very Special Kids, we believe that all children and young people have the right to quality of life, no matter how long or short their life may be. We provide holistic palliative care for children with a life-limiting condition and their families. Our multidisciplinary approach includes counselling, sibling support, bereavement support and community activities, as well as respite and end of life care at Victoria’s only children’s hospice.
Every member of our team plays a vital role in the delivery of essential services to support the physical, mental and emotional needs of the children and families in our care, so they are always supported in the way they need it most – through life, death and bereavement.
Reporting to the Philanthropy Manager, we have a rewarding opportunity for a Philanthropy Coordinator to join us in a pivotal year of change. You will be responsible for the stewardship, cultivation, and development of a valuable pipeline of prospects and qualified donors including Mid/Major Donors, Philanthropic Trusts and Foundations and Private Ancillary Funds.
Through your team’s success you will help raise funds to support children with life-limiting conditions and their families, increase awareness of the Very Special Kids purpose and services, as well as increase consumer and stakeholder engagement.
