Wayss is the largest provider of housing and family violence services in the South East Melbourne area.
We exist so that people have access to safe, sustainable and affordable housing and our vision is to be the major provider of social housing services and leading-edge client support programs in the Southern Melbourne Metropolitan region.
The Risk Assessment and Management Panel (RAMP) sits within the Wayss Family Violence and High Risk Response program. RAMP involves members from key agencies and organisations that contribute to the safety of women and children experiencing serious and imminent threat from family violence.
The Specialist Family Violence Intensive Case Management Practitioner role provides intensive case management support to clients and any accompanying children assessed to be at serious family violence risk. Working closely with the RAMP Coordinator the practitioner works intensively with clients to reduce their level of family violence risk and to provide the immediate and ongoing support needed to assist recovery from family violence. The position works collaboratively with the Victoria Police Family Violence Investigation Unit, Child Protection, Community Corrections and other specialist agencies.

This role requires a valid Working With Children Check Card. The candidate will need to have successfully completed Wayss’ pre-employment screening and a police check. In accordance with the CHO directions around mandatory vaccinations, Wayss staff who are required to work outside their home to perform their role are required to be fully vaccinated by 26 November 2021 (unless the person is an excepted person). You will be required to confirm your vaccination status prior to interview.
