Women with Disabilities Victoria is a vibrant organisation of women with disabilities working for women with disabilities in Victoria.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Gender and Disability Training Coordinator to join our friendly team. 

The Gender and Disability Training Coordinator candidate needs to be passionate about women’s rights, inclusion and prevention of violence against women. They will have experience in primary prevention of violence, training and workforce development.

The Gender and Disability Training Coordinator is a position within the Workforce Development program team, this position is responsible for:

  • Implementing the Gender and Disability Workforce Development Program training and workforce deliverables over the next phase of funding. 
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, to support Program delivery. 
  • Contributing knowledge and expertise in prevention of violence against women with disabilities (PVAWD), gender and disability equity for the broader strategic positioning of women with disabilities in primary prevention.
  • Contributing to a strong and respectful team culture grounded in feminist and co-design principles

Salary Range between $74,179 - $79,811 pro-rata, plus Superannuation and Salary Packaging available.  

Hours are 0.8 FTE (60.80) hours per fortnight part-time to be worked over Monday to Thursday. 

This position is from the date of appointment to 30 June 2023 and may be extended subject to funding.

A police check will be required to undertake the duties in this position.
