Purpose of the role

  • Implement and review processes and policies to meet all compliance requirements
  • Oversee NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission reporting
  • Provide guidance and leadership with compliance and incidents
  • Assist the leadership team to continuously improve high quality service to clients

About you

  • Thorough understanding of legislation and NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
  • Experience working with people with complex needs
  • Experience working in audit or preparing for certification/accreditation of a community services or healthcare organisation
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Cohesive team player who can work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent critical thinking and organisational skills to effectively manage competing demands
  • Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to changes in work demands and circumstances

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a similar role in the disability services industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in management, leadership, quality assurance
  • Current Registered Nurse would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Currently hold or willingness to obtain a National Police Check, Working with Children check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card)
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Legislated vaccination requirements
