About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of the YCLSS program at the Local Health District Level, focusing on providing day to day supervision and coaching to YLCSS staff that ensures the delivery of high quality, safe, effective and evidence-based supports, while also ensuring that program governance, budgetary and contractual requirements are met under the direction of the Program Coordinator.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following

  • Tertiary level qualifications in Mental Health or Community Services, the Social Sciences or related discipline
  • Current valid Driver Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
  • Ability to participate in out of hours activities as required to undertake the role
  • At least 1 year program management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet applications
  • A contemporary understanding of mental health issues and recovery orientated mental health practice
  • Satisfactory Police Records Check [less than 12 months old] and Working with Children Check
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • Evidence of full COVID-19 Booster vaccination or valid medical exemption
