Victims Assistance Program (VAP) offers specialist responses to victims of violent crime including intake and brief intervention, case management, (brokered) counselling services, and community education. Practice is evidence and trauma-informed and client-focussed. The VAP operates an intake and brief response service via telephone where clients (referred primarily by the police and through an e-referral system) are responded to and triaged.
The VAP Specialist Team Support Intake and Brief Response reports to the VAP Program Facilitator and will work in close collaboration with the Specialist Team Support Community Engagement & Service Improvement. The Program Manager and both Specialist Team Supports work cohesively to provide strong and responsive leadership across all aspects and locations of the VAP program.
