Women’s Health East (WHE) is a women’s health promotion agency based in Doncaster East that works across Melbourne’s eastern region. WHE’s vision is equality, empowerment, health and wellbeing for all women. Our strategic priorities are to advance gender equality, prevent violence against women and improve women’s sexual and reproductive health.

Role summary  

The Gender Equality Advisor is a newly created position that works as part of a team to provide organisations with high-quality consultancy advice, education, training, and products associated with the Gender Equality Act 2020. The Gender Equality Advisor will support organisations to take an intersectional approach to the development and implementation of gender equality plans, progress associated with workplace gender equality, undertake gender impact assessments to promote gender equality in policies, programs and services, and to take positive action to promote gender equality.
