Women’s Health East (WHE) is a women’s health promotion agency based in Doncaster East that works across Melbourne’s eastern region. WHE’s vision is equality, empowerment, health and wellbeing for all women. Our strategic priorities are to advance gender equality, prevent violence against women and improve women’s sexual and reproductive health.

Role summary  

The Manager Gender Equality is a newly created position that will lead the expansion of a staff unit who are responsible for client management and overseeing the delivery of gender equality consultancy products, fee-for-service marketing and communications, training, and sector development strategies. This position will work, as part of a consortium of women’s health services known as the Action for Gender Equity Partnership, who are expert consultants that provide organisations with specialist advice on how to action their obligations under the Gender Equality Act 2020. The Manager Gender Equality is a member of the leadership team and plays a strategic role at Women’s Health East.
