Women’s Health Loddon Mallee is a women’s health promotion organisation based in Bendigo and working across the Loddon Mallee Region of Victoria. Women’s Health Loddon Mallee’s vision is Health, Wellbeing, and Equity for women of the Loddon Mallee region. Our priorities are to advance gender equality, prevent violence against women, and improve women’s sexual and reproductive health in a changing society.

We are a for purpose health promotion charity run by women for women. Working within a feminist framework WHLM addresses the cultural and structural causes of gender inequalities impacting the health and wellbeing of women in the region, through research, advocacy for systemic change, training, and capacity building.

The Finance assistant and office administrator role is responsible for managing reception, providing administrative support to the Management team and WHLM staff and a strong focus on the execution of finance related activities with direction from the Business & Finance Manager.

The role covers the following key areas:

  • Reception: ensuring visitors and phone calls are responded to in a timely manner
  • Clinic Administration: provide administrative and office support for the management of the well women’s clinic, arrange bookings, client file management and reminder and results letters.
  • Administration: provide administrative and office support for WHLM including liaising with suppliers, keeping the office clean and tidy, support WHLM activities, assist in induction of new staff, managing the WHLM email accounts in a timely manner.
  • Event administration: Providing support for the organisation of functions/ meetings/ seminars/ conferences/ board meetings.
  • Accounts payable and receivable: ensuring all accounts are processed in an accurate and timely manner in liaison with the Business & Finance manager. Completion of monthly credit card reconciliations

This role is a fixed-term, parental leave full-time role scheduled to end August 2023.
