WHOS has opened a new service in Goulburn for people with AOD use and co-occurring conditions. WHOS Day Program Goulburn is a community-based support and treatment service, offering assessment and referral services, and non-residential supported care.

WHOS is looking for full-time and part-time AOD Workers to join this exciting new service. The role involves:

  • assessment, referral, and education,
  • case management (which involves developing and monitoring individual treatment plans),
  • implementing a structured Day Program (which involves facilitating various process and educational groups).

Essential Criteria

  • Certificate IV or higher in community services, AOD, mental health (or similar)
  • Experience working with clients that have AOD use disorders and/or associated issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation strategies
  • Advanced case management skills
  • Experience in facilitating groups
  • Experience in day program settings

Remuneration

  • SCHADS Award Level 4
  • Salary packaging is available
