In line with Windermere’s 2020 – 2023 Strategic Plan ‘Doing It Better Together’, we are entering a period of growth and transformation and as such we are seeking experienced Family Day Care Coordinator (Educational Program Coordinator) to join our Family Day Care (FDC) team in Pakenham working on a Part-time basis.

About the role

Utilising your expertise as an early childhood practitioner, you will ensure that the educational programs delivered by our FDC Educators are engaging and enhance children’s development and learning as outlined in the National Quality Framework.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for conducting site visits to monitor the standard of education and care, educator conduct and compliance, facilitate training and development that reflects educator needs, develop individual learning plans including long term and short term goals for our educators and support the on-boarding of new educators.

You will also exercise your experience as an educational leader by supporting educators in developing and implementing a cycle of planning to enhance educational curriculum programs and practices.

This opportunity has been created to help support our board of educators within a Permanent PART TIME capacity offering 15.2 hours per week. Recognised as a flexible and family-friendly organisation we also offer a hybrid model of working including working remotely and within our offices at the Toomah Community Centre in the heart of Pakenham, where you will work within a contemporary style building that offers modern facilities and on-site parking.

About you

You will be tertiary qualified in Early Childhood Education (minimum Diploma of Children’s Services). Furthermore you will have demonstrated knowledge and expertise of working within Family Day Care, facilitating and providing training opportunities and implementing & monitoring National Quality Frameworks within early childhood services.
