About the role

We are currently seeking three speech pathologists for full time positions but are open to part-time for the right applicant (22.8 or 30.4 hours per week). We offer a hybrid model of working remotely from home and meeting with consumers in their natural surroundings or within our offices in Berwick, Cranbourne and / or Pakenham.

As a Windermere Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will manage a caseload and:

  • Deliver a broad range of evidence informed intervention strategies, standardised assessments and parent training to increase communication and active participation in social and educational settings for children;
  • Provide key worker support to families and children via face to face consultation and relationship building in natural environments, schools and kindergartens as well as our modern office facilities and therapy spaces;
  • Liaise and collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to design and deliver comprehensive support plans; 
  • Provide discipline specific support and advice to families and children in relation to speaking, listening, language, augmentative and alternative communication, fluency and social skills; and
  • Provide supervision and support to students providing regular feedback.

Technical Skills & Professional Experience:

You will have a tertiary qualification within Speech Pathology and hold a current registration with Speech Pathology Australia. Furthermore you will have specialist knowledge and relevant demonstrated experience within a paediatric practice.
