As a registered service provider under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and with more than 20 years’ experience in providing services to Victorians living with disability or developmental delays, we understand the NDIS and how it may impact our consumers.

About the opportunity:

Due to increased consumer demand, we are seeking a Support Coordinator to join a skilled and dedicated team who are committed to providing high quality services and go above and beyond for our consumers to coordinate and implement the support they need.

In this full-time/ part-time permanent consumer-facing role, you will collaborate with individuals and families living with disability to strengthen their capacity and build resilience to be able to fully participate in the community.

More specifically you will connect consumers with service providers to help them access new services, and provide coaching and guidance to develop a plan and work towards their set goals.

Windermere promotes a hybrid model of working including working remotely from home, outreach (delivering services in the consumer natural environment at home) or within our head office in Narre Warren. Candidates from South East Melbourne and Peninsula areas are encouraged to apply.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in disability or a related discipline
  • 3 years’ experience within disability services or related services (i.e. Disability Employment Services);
  • Demonstrated service knowledge of Disability, Mental Health, Family Violence, Alcohol and other Drugs;
  • Demonstrated methods that promote engaging people with a disability into their community and a commitment to principles involved in community inclusion;
  • Demonstrated time management in fast paced, complex service environment;
  • Ability to use all relevant technology including tools enabling mobility and working remotely
  • Current Drivers License
