Wesley Mission’s Community and Family Care teams build resilience and strengthen capacity in the local communities where we work. We support people using evidence-based, trauma-informed, person-centred approach in a holistic manner and on a voluntary basis. We are looking for an outstanding Group Worker who is conscientious, reliable, and motivated about making a difference.
As a Group Worker within the Targeted Earlier Intervention program you will providing community-based services with the goal of preventing children and young people from entering the child protection system. You will deliver specialised practice in planning and conducting groups, events, and workshops. The Group Worker will also promote, foster, and build community connections to increase referral pathways, improve referral systems, develop Indigenous and CALD community engagement and improve service awareness.
