About the opportunity 

Breezeway has been operating for 24 years and is an integral service to the Ballarat community. This position is to provide relief cover for unplanned absences and rostered leave. The Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Daily duties required to produce lunch and takeaway packs, supervise volunteers and any other tasks associated with the position on a casual basis, including weekend work.
  • Assisting the Crisis Support Coordinator to ensure the safe and effective running of the program and will be required to complete a minimum 5 hour shift.

About you

We are looking for a person who is motivated, has attention to detail, excellent communication skills, can work unsupervised and can be available for shifts on short notice.

Experience in:

  • Ensuring the business complies with all relevant food safety standards and codes
  • Preparation, cooking and serving of 60 plus meals daily
  • Handling any issues that arise within the business; inclusive of kitchen, dining room and client behaviour
  • The food industry would be highly regarded with qualifications in Food Handling and Food Supervision
