The Early Childhood Development Program aims to improve systematic and operational responses for vulnerable families with children aged 0-5 years, who experience challenges/barriers to engaging in early years’ services and are at risk of becoming involved with Child Protection if problems are not addressed.
The Early Childhood Development Coordination is responsible for strengthening integrated service responses and partnerships between Child FIRST/Family Services and early years’ service providers, to enhance opportunities for vulnerable children and families to access and remain engaged with early years’ services. The role will identify local barriers, develop strategic responses, provide case consultancy to Child FIRST/Family Services Practitioners and deliver targeted education sessions to early years’ services.
