About the opportunity

We have multiple opportunities available for Residential Care Worker to join our team. The role will provide high quality care and support within a 24-hour residential setting to children and young people who can no longer live with their families.

This model is to designed to stabilise young people in a long-term therapeutic setting, with the support of our Therputic Specialists.

Be apart of a supporting team that will be providing the much needed support to our  young people while obtaining training to match our new Therapeutic model of care.

About you

We are seeking cares that have the ability to make positive connections with young people and enjoy working within a positive team dynamic.

To be successful for this position you will need to have a minimum of Certificate IV in Youth Work or Community Services and Manadtory Top Up Training ( Trauma Informed Practice Units).

Additionally you will also have:

  • A current First Aid and CPR
  • A current driver’s license
  • A current working with children check card (employee)
  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
