The Family Preservation and Reunification Response Program is a new innovative approach to delivering relational, therapeutic, evidence-informed intervention support to vulnerable children and families in partnership with Child Protection. The program aims to prevent at risk children and young people from entering or re-entering care and also supports children and young people currently in care to safely reunify with their family where possible.
The Senior Practitioner role is critical in implementing a wrap around, evidence informed case management approach for the most complex challenging families. The role will carry a caseload working closely with the Team Leader to provide support and live coaching to FPR Practitioners in cases that are high risk, present multiple demands and when FPR Practitioners identify as needing additional support.
To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a degree qualification in social work, psychology or a child and family welfare related discipline.
