Our Youth Residential Services Program delivers high quality care and support within a 24-hour residential setting to children and young people who are unable live with their families, kinship carers or foster carers. The program supports vulnerable children and young people who present complex needs, and have often experienced past trauma and abuse.
Reporting to the Eastern Residential Services Manager, the Team Leader is responsible for managing two of our 2-bed residential youth homes which both operate sleepover models. The Team Leader will work closely with a Senior Worker and Therapeutic Specialist to provide effective leadership, supervision and support to a dedicated team of support workers caring for up to four young people across the two homes. The role will contribute to the ongoing development of the program by ensuring that services are consumer-focused, and are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards.
