WCS is seeking a dynamic, experienced and energetic Director of Children’s Services to lead and manage the strategic and service operations of our children’s services. This includes two early learning centres in Woden and out of school hours care (OSHC) services across Canberra.

The Director of Children’s Services will be an experienced leader who will work closely with their teams embedding contemporary and innovative practices to support positive outcomes for the children and their families.

Highly effective leadership skills to manage a diverse workforce across a range of services are essential. The role requires the ability to translate the organisation’s strategic and business plans into operational goals and through a commercial orientation that results in long term growth and sustainability of WCS.

This is a key Executive position reporting to the CEO which will also work closely with the broader senior Leadership team.

Experience at a senior leadership level in the children’s services sector and a relevant tertiary degree qualification are essential.

Full time permanent position based near Woden Town Centre with access to salary packaging benefits. Salary $123,778 - $136,340 pa depending on qualifications and experience. A fully maintained work car and parking will be provided.
