Women’s Health West provides specialist family violence services to women and their children. We also run prevention programs that promote equity and justice for women and girls in Melbourne’s west.

Our work has actively contributed to improving the health, safety and wellbeing of women and their children in the western metropolitan region of Melbourne since 1988. Due to an increase in demand for our services and several successful internal appointments to new roles, Women’s Health West is now recruiting for a Senior Receptionist/Administrator.

About the Role

The senior receptionist/administrator role is a member of the Business Operations team at Women’s Health West and offers the first point of contact for visitors, clients and community members alike. The role plays a crucial part in triage response for current and potential clients, requiring a boundaried and empathetic focus on determining risk and eligibility for services. They provide daily service delivery that is warm and responsive. As a successful applicant, you will demonstrate experience in telephone or receptionist duties in similar crisis or community services environments.

The role is fixed-term for 6 months, and is flexible part-time (3-4 days per week). This role reports to the Manager - Business Systems and Operations, and is paid at WHW EA Level 3, pay point dependent on experience (62K to 67K per annum pro rata full-time) + superannuation.
