Women's Legal Service Tasmania (WLST) and Tasmania Legal Aid (TLA) have established Tasmania's first Health Justice Partnership - Just Healthy Families.
Just Healthy Families is a two-year pilot project funded through a grant from the Tasmanian Community Fund, with additional funding provided through the Tasmanian Government, and we are recruiting three senior solicitors to work exclusively on this pilot project, under the supervision of both WLST in the north and north-west, and TLA in the south.
The successful applicants will work with our health and social services partners - Child Health and Parenting Services (CHAPS), Child and Family Centres, general practitioners, shelters and other allied health professionals to address family violence. Employment Status: Full Time, 2-year contract
Classification: with Reference to SCHADS Level 6.3 (total package of $125,000 comprising a base wage, 17.5% leave loading, 10% superannuation, FBT benefit and employee support)
Reporting to: Principal Solicitor, Women’s Legal Service Tasmania, and Safe at Home Practice Manager, Tasmania Legal Aid
Locations: State wide, three positions, servicing north, north west and southern Tasmania with flexibility around bases
