Health Justice Partnership Solicitors x3 - Flexible Location

Women's Legal Service Tasmania

Women's Legal Service Tasmania (WLST) and Tasmania Legal Aid (TLA) have established Tasmania's first Health Justice Partnership - Just Healthy Families.

Just Healthy Families is a two-year pilot project funded through a grant from the Tasmanian Community Fund, with additional funding provided through the Tasmanian Government, and we are recruiting three senior solicitors to work exclusively on this pilot project, under the supervision of both WLST in the north and north-west, and TLA in the south.

The successful applicants will work with our health and social services partners - Child Health and Parenting Services (CHAPS), Child and Family Centres, general practitioners, shelters and other allied health professionals to address family violence. More information about Health Justice Partnerships can be found on the Health Justice Australia website.

We understand that this can be challenging work, and we offer staff a supporting environment that aims to maintain their resilience.
