About the Role

As World Hope International - Australia moves into a new era following the appointment of a new CEO in January 2022, the opportunity has arisen for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join the Board of Directors and make a significant contribution to our mission.

The Board meets on a monthly basis, with ten meetings per year.

WHI recognises the importance and benefits of board diversity, including gender equity, and national representation.

About you

As a Non-Executive Director (NED) you will be expected to support the delivery of organisational development objectives and ensure a strong financial and governance foundation.

To enhance the skills matrix of the existing Board members, successful candidates should have current or recent board or executive experience, with a particular emphasis on fundraising and finance.

WHI is inspired and driven by a strong Christian understanding of mission, and Board members are faithful followers of Christ, committed to proactively supporting a national not-for-profit to have impact at the global level.
