The position

Join our team at Little Things Café who are working with purpose and use your hospitality skills to make the world a better place for the world’s most vulnerable. All proceeds go to World Vision Australia to help impact the lives of children. We’re a social enterprise that trades with a conscience!

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • General cooking and short order cooking
  • Prepare and properly present food for regular service and functions.
  • Completion and compliance with any required OH & S and WVA training

Your skills and experience will include:

  • Commercial cookery certification or equivalent
  • Short order cooking experience essential
  • Dietary/allergy awareness and excellent hygiene.
  • You will have knowledge in safe food handling and related OH & S requirements
  • Flexibility, the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once 

What you need to know

We need you to work across 2 outlets, Little Things Café, Blackburn, trading Monday to Saturday from 7:30am to 3pm. Sundays we are open for function bookings only and our new Café is opening soon in Burwood East (Mon-Fri).

The right candidate will be offered full time employment after 6 months.
