Yalari educates and empowers Indigenous children from regional, rural and remote communities. We provide trusted, quality educational opportunities and support for Indigenous children to achieve positive outcomes for themselves and their families and make valuable contributions as Australians. The Role

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for the planning and delivery of fundraising appeals, events and programs designed to increase the number of active supporters of Yalari, generate revenue to fund our programs and identify high-value prospects for sponsorships, major gifts and gifts in wills.

As a key member of the Philanthropy and Fundraising Team, the Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for achieving annual fundraising targets, driving and coordinating the activities of the team to meet deadlines, and ensuring all supporters are engaged in Yalari’s work and appreciated for all they do to make a difference.

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role – in campaign creation, execution, analysis and reporting – working both strategically and hands-on
• Successful track record of achieving targets in appeals, campaigns, programs, events, regular giving and/or workplace giving
• Passion for a data-driven approach to appeal management, analytics and insights
• Superior time management, organisational and project management skills
• Commitment to philanthropy and best practice in fundraising and supporter experience
• High-level IT skills, including experience using a contemporary CRM
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Collaborative team player
