We provide affordable housing, and work to reduce disadvantage and social exclusion for people who have previously been homeless, by helping to create communities around them. Unison also assists over 3000 people each year who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

About the role

Reporting to the H2H Team Leader, the Administration Officer will support the H2H team in carrying-out the following:  

  • Responding to and distributing emails to the H2H inbox professionally, quickly and efficiently
  • Assessing referrals to the program for accuracy and completeness and seeking more information from the referrer as required.
  • Entering information into relevant databases (SHIP, Greentree, spreadsheets) accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assisting the H2H team with property tasks such as inspections, condition reports
  • Collating tenancy sign up kits
  • Providing administrative support to the H2H team
  • Records Management

About you

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated high level of computer literacy in the use of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge and understanding of Residential Tenancies Act
  • Knowledge of mechanisms contributing to, and maintaining, disadvantage
  • You will possess a can-do attitude, strong work ethic and the highest levels of professional integrity

On Offer

  • Fixed Term (3 months), Full-time position
  • Annual Remuneration package of $61,301 (including super, salary packaging and annual leave loading)
  • 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% annual leave loading
  • Salary packaging of up to $15,900 tax free
  • Supportive working arrangements
