Are you an experienced Child and Family Practitioner who’s willing to do whatever it takes to create change? Would you like to genuinely make a difference in your role?

Our Intensive Family Support Service works alongside families with complex needs who are at risk of entering the child protection system. In this role you’ll work with parents, carers young people, and children from unborn to 18 years of age to strengthen their families to respond to challenges and thrive. You’ll have time and support to spend with families to get to know them and their needs, build trust and work out with them what will make a difference.

You’ll be part of a team of skilled professionals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable families and backing them to thrive.

You will:

• Use evidence based tools to assess challenges and strengths
• Provide purposeful and tailored case management to families.
• Provide in-home parent coaching support and practical parenting strategies.
• Work across the Browns Plains/Beaudesert regions from an office based in Jimboomba.
• Undertake flexible home visits, which may occasionally be scheduled outside of core business hours.
