The Y NSW Outside School Hours Care centres are places that spark inspiration for learning and play, opportunities for lifelong friendships, and a nurturing environment of care and comfort for children. As our Regional Operations Manager, you will be the business manager that ensures this vital service that supports working families and children runs like a well-oiled machine, and continues to thrive and grow.
You will lead up to 20 Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) locations. This includes vacation care programming. You will manage Children Services Managers, travel between sites, balance day-to-day operations and contribute to the Y NSW’s strategy for children’s services.
Your average week will include contributions to strategic discussions, managing key stakeholders, ensuring operations meet compliance and regulations, considering efficiencies and input to budgeting processes. You will do this while mentoring, inspiring and developing a team of dedicated people who believe wholeheartedly in the purpose of the essential community service they provide. Your role will require dynamism, energy, the ability to work autonomously and flexibly and play an integral role in the ongoing development of the Y.
If you’re a future-focused leader who believes that our future is bright when young people are inspired, you’ll find a rewarding opportunity being part of a vibrant team, culture and vision for the Y’s future.
At the Y, we are committed to empowering all Children and Young People to feel safe and be safe, at the Y, in their families and in their communities. As such, we embed Safeguarding into everything that we do to make sure Children and Young People are kept at the front of our minds in all our programs and services. We also ensure that all our candidates are appropriately screened to make sure that the right people are in the right roles to keep our children and young people safe.
