The Junior Digital Media Designer works as part of the creative team, collaborating to execute the marketing functions of the organisation. The position is ideal for a recent or soon to be digital media, graphic design, creative arts, or visual communications graduate looking for experience in a wide spectrum of marketing, creative and digital outputs. Casting a wide net to compliment the skillset of the creative team, the position is flexible in hours and areas of specialty. We are looking for those with a passion in one, or several of the following: graphic design, social media, copywriting/content, film/production, photography, and SEO/SEM. The role will be tailored to the applicant.

We are rebuilding the marketing team with several positions currently out to market. There is some flexibility in each vacant role, capable of being tailored to the unique skill set of the individual. The aim is to build a small team with complimenting skills addressing many of the ‘desired’ skills/experience noted below.
The marketing team supports the needs and requests of roughly 10 recreation locations and 25 OSHC’s/ELC’s (ranging from program promotion to integrated membership campaigns and everything in-between). In addition to retail/consumer-oriented marketing, the team also fulfils the organisations business-to-business strategies including tender preparation and communications to the 600+ YMCA South Australia team.
The marketing team is primarily based at YMCA South Australia Support Services (Waymouth Street). The team enjoys a strong work life balance with flexibility in office hours and partial work from home ability. Some ad-hoc and infrequent travel may be required to visit locations.
