The Role

Reporting to the CEO, Yooralla’s CIO manages a technology landscape which includes a flagship Customer Management System based upon the Salesforce platform, the Microsoft 365 productivity toolset, an intense focus on information security, an extensive network and a range of other enterprise and departmental applications.

The CIO works closely with the Executive team and other stakeholders to align ICT activities with the strategic and operational needs of the business. An internal technology support team of approximately 25 staff is supported by a range of external partners to plan and deliver timely and high-quality ICT-related outcomes across Yooralla.

Yooralla believes that the quality of our systems and processes strongly correlates with the quality of our services and plans ongoing evolution of our systems and processes with commensurate investment and associated training.

The CIO will have the opportunity to make a far-reaching contribution to Yooralla, and provide leadership balancing investment, effort and risk with business outcomes

The Applicant

The preferred applicant will have:

• 10+ years’ experience working within a mid- to large- sized IT environment
• 3+ years’ experience working in a senior operational ICT management role across a wide range of technologies and applications
• Demonstrable experience delivering multiple and complex ICT-enablement projects
• Demonstrable capacity to interact comfortably with senior Executives and Board Directors, and capacity to contribute on non-ICT related topics at a senior management level
• Strong understanding of ICT service delivery principles and their application in a high compliance environment, including liaison with government
• Strong understanding of technology vendor and consultant perspectives on ICT service delivery
• Demonstrable success in undertaking ICT strategic planning and delivering associated initiatives
• Strong commitment to information security and privacy
• An aptitude for financial activities including detailed cost oversight and enterprise budgeting
