About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Recruitment focused professional looking for a varied, challenging, fast –paced role to join our friendly Recruitment and Employment team of 8.

Reporting to the Recruitment and Employment Manager, the Senior HR Recruitment and Employment Advisor, operating within a business partner model, is responsible for providing support and advice to Managers and staff for all aspects of the employment lifecycle within the designated portfolio, developing a business partnership with Managers and understanding their operational areas.

This role works in collaboration with their HR Administrator in creating advertising campaigns, position descriptions, shortlisting, interviewing, pre-employment checks, generating contracts and on boarding whilst coaching, leading and mentoring.

The Senior HR Recruitment and Employment Advisor will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with pre-employment and ongoing mandatory requirements of employees in the designated portfolio.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Generalist Human Resources experience and relevant HR tertiary qualifications
  • Experience in providing HR support and advice
  • Experience in conducting end to end recruitment
  • Experience in providing timely responses with integrity and quality
  • Experience using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Page Up and Ascender an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation, regulations, awards, industrial agreements together with policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal/external clients
  • Ability to work autonomously and across broad teams
  • Ability to adapt effectively to change
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised and efficient
  • Experience within the community/health sector (highly regarded)
