We are seeking an experienced Administrator who will assist the CEO and Sector Support Coordinator to deliver against the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and Sector Support and Development (SSD) Annual Work Plan.

The role will be a supporting conduit between aged care providers and the Commonwealth Department of Health in response to the Aged Care reforms and future aged care models.

The Administrator role will work closely with the Sector Support Coordinator to source and distribute information to aged care workers, case managers and senior managers. In addition, the role is responsible for event coordination and promotion. Events can range from 10 attendees to 100+ attendees, and can be in person or online. Additional tasks include managing SSD micro website, collating of information, managing a calendar and other administrative tasks.

Excellent customer service and event coordination is crucial to this role, including experience with problem solving, attention to detail and clear communication.

In addition to this, the building of strong and mutually beneficial relationships with our Provider Partners is essential.

About You:

  • Prior experience as an Administrator, Administrative Assistant or relevant role
  • Prior experiencing coordinating meetings and large scale events
  • Experience with office management tools (Office 365 in particular)
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail
  • Must have driver’s licence.
