About the role

As our Bid Writer you will be responsible for supporting the coordination, identification and development of funding submissions for yourtown’s programs and services and strategic objectives. This includes grants, tenders and business development proposals. Through this role you will have a tangible impact on the lives of children and young people by securing funding for programs and services.

About you

You will be highly analytical and skilled at delivering persuasive writing to a range of audiences. You will pride yourself on your innovation, creativity and ability to conceptualise and bring ideas to fruition.

To be successful you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience in the sourcing of grant funding and the preparation of grants, tenders and business proposals
  • Strong business partnering experience across all levels of an organisation
  • Exceptional research and writing skills, with proven ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • A keen understanding of service design and the delivery of services
  • Strong business acumen
