About the role

As the Executive Assistant you will provide high level secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Advocacy and Research as well as the leadership team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Head of Advocacy and Research to proactively plan and manage current issues, activities, appointments, meetings;
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholder general enquiries;
  • Organising and  preparing all meeting material including presentations, agendas, minute taking and  actioning follow ups;
  • Providing financial management support including purchase orders, invoices, payments, maintaining budgets and reconciliation of credit cards;
  • Coordinating travel and events.

This is a permanent, part-time role - 20 hrs/week. 

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Demonstrated experience providing high level administration support at a senior management level;
  • Consistent initiative, discretion, judgment and tact of a high level, with the ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with issues of a sensitive or personal nature;
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing coupled with demonstrated experience compiling complex reports, providing minutes and developing presentations;
  • High proficiency in the use of MS Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel;
  • Strong relationship building and influential skills with a diverse range of stakeholders;
  • Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking coupled with a deadline driven attitude.
