About the role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager the IT Applications Team Leader will be responsible for managing and maintaining the applications portfolio across yourtown. You will lead your team and resolve complex queries and ensure all platforms are secure, current and efficient. Your other key responsibilities will include:

  • Triaging and allocating tickets ensuring request/incidents are resolved in a timely manner;
  • Assisting with the strategic plans for digital systems and platforms;
  • Working closely with the Strategy and Architecture team in the design space and the project team upon go live of vendor built platforms;
  • Vendor management.

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Demonstrated experience developing and supporting web-based applications in an enterprise environment coupled with strong leadership experience;
  • Sound working knowledge of ITIL framework (ITIL Certification will be a bonus!) and Dev Ops methodology;
  • Strategic vision complimented by a role up your sleeves attitude for business as usual.

Equally as important to us are your strong relationship building/influential skills, excellent communication skills and acute attention to detail.
