About the role

The Lead Quality Auditor is responsible for facilitating and delivering independent review and assurance and driving continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Enterprise Risk and Compliance Manager to develop the Assurance Schedule;
  • Reviewing the risk register and partnering with organisational managers to understand their high risk areas, with a focus on adding value;
  • Leading internal audits as well as delivering targeted, ongoing assurance over key risk areas;
  • Supporting the Enterprise Risk and Compliance Manager to present audit findings to senior management as well as providing assurance related reporting to the Executives and the Board/Sub Committee.

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with demonstrated internal auditing experience. An industry recognised Lead Auditor qualification will be an added bonus;
  • Demonstrated experience working at an enterprise level to lead the development of a risk-based assurance plan;
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end internal audits using qualitative and quantitative auditing techniques;
  • Strong communication skills coupled with outstanding reporting capability;
  • Solid relationship building and influential skills and a business partnering mindset;
  • A dynamic, results driven attitude and embrace organisational change.
