Risk Management Coordinator

About the role

Reporting to the Enterprise Risk and Compliance Manager the Risk Management Coordinator will support and facilitate an uplift of knowledge and awareness at an operational level of an integrated, action orientated approach to risk management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with operational level risk owners in contemporary risk management practice, with a focus on protecting and creating value;
  • Planning and facilitating workshops for training and awareness;
  • Maintaining the risk register and manipulating data to provide insights into business risk activity, trends and risk management performance for reporting purposes;
  • Conducting risk workshops and supporting projects to identify and manage risk;
  • Supporting in the acceleration of a risk intelligent culture at yourtown.

This is a fixed term, full-time role till Jan 2023. 

About you

To be successful in this role you have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a risk management, policy, legal or compliance position;
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation and delivery of workshops/focus groups;
  • Strong project management and the ability to coordinate multiple, competing priorities across different business units at a national level;
  • Outstanding data analytical and reporting skills and coupled with terrific verbal communication;
  • Strong relationship building and influential skills to promote the risk governance agenda across yourtown;
  • A dynamic, results driven attitude and embrace organisational change.
