Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Finance Manager is a critical member of our leadership team and a trusted advisor in all things numbers and people. Youth Opportunities is a proudly South Australian based for-purpose organisation that is swiftly growing, and we need you to help us grow our reach while continuing to get the basics right.
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and proactive Finance Manager to fill this newly expanded role in an organisation making a transformative difference in the lives of Australia’s young people! Along with your small but mighty team of accounts, payroll and HR legends, you’ll work closely with your colleagues on our leadership team and with our Board to deliver excellent financial and human resources support to your fellow superstars across Youth Opportunities including staff based regionally and potentially interstate.
A full Job & Person Specification can be obtained by emailing [email protected] using the subject line: Finance Manager enquiry via EthicalJobs.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you’ll be accountable for:
The role is based at our Somerton Park office in South Australia, with working from home and other flexible work arrangements available by mutual agreement. We’d love someone full time but understand that a few less hours may be important to help you balance your life and work commitments so we don’t want that to hold you back from applying. We’re open to negotiating between 0.8-1.0 FTE (30.4 – 38 hr p/w) to suit your needs.
This role is a newly up-sized permanent ongoing role with a salary range between $90 - $120k FTE plus superannuation depending on the skills & experience of the candidate and their ability to contribute to and shape commercial & HR strategy.
When considering your potential take-home package it’s really cool to note that as a registered public benevolent institution (PBI) Youth Opportunities employees can salary sacrifice up to $30,000 p/a of which $15,899 is exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax. That means your take home pay increases without working longer hours! A salary comparison estimator is available on request.
In addition, you’ll get to be part of a supportive and purpose-led team who are driven to improve the lives of young people. With young people at the heart we empower each other to grow, inspire with passion and demonstrate gratitude all in the spirit of partnership. It’s a pretty optimistic and fun place to work! We also offer a range of staff benefits and perks including access to flexible work conditions, subsidised physio and wellbeing & professional development opportunities.
