ABOUT THIS ROLE

YWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated Community Housing Officer to join our Housing Team in our Melbourne office. This is a full time ongoing role.

The role is essential in ensuring sustainable tenancies by:

• Maintaining tenancy databases
• Arrange, record and report on maintenance issues
• Attend to all tenancy actions as required under the Victorian RTA

ABOUT YOU

The ideal applicant will have:

• Experience in the community housing sector
• An understanding of the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act
• An awareness and sensitivity to homelessness issues
• Ability to maintain and manage tenancy data on various databases

This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily meet our pre-employment requirements. This includes:

• Completion of a national criminal history check
• A valid relevant state-based working with children permit.
• Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination, which includes Government recommended boosters.
