This exciting role will provide counselling and support services in Moruya at Cassie's Place for a temporary six-month period for children who have experienced child sexual assault as well as provide counselling services to their non- offending parent and family members impacted by child sexual assault. This position after 6 months will transition to join the Anglicare Therapeutic Specialist Team to provide therapeutic services for children and young people in foster and kinship care in the Eurobodalla.
Instrumental to your success will be your strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience working in a therapeutic, clinical or trauma-informed setting or working with Children and Young People. A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling or a related discipline is mandatory.
