<h3>about the role</h3>
The Lead, Practice Fellowship Program reports directly to the Manager, Strategic Projects &amp; Planning, and will work across the organisation, and externally across the state to support the delivery of a new, innovative pilot training program.
In the context of post-pandemic recovery, there is an important opportunity to leverage VicHealth&rsquo;s capabilities to strengthen the public health and prevention workforce to effectively address key drivers and upstream determinants of chronic disease.
VicHealth is partnering with the Department of Health, Local Public Health Units (LPHU&rsquo;s), and other health sector partners to deliver a pilot Prevention Practice fellowship program.
Using your holistic view of program delivery, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of this exciting new venture. You&rsquo;ll also be tasked with designing key work-based learning and assessment tools to support the evaluation of this initial 12 month pilot program.
You will develop and maintain excellent relationships across the organisation, and with key external stakeholders.
You will possess impressive experience in program/project management, and you&rsquo;ll easily demonstrate the ability to manage multiple and competing demands.

<h3>Qualifications and experience required</h3>
<ul>
<li>Relevant tertiary qualification in Public Health, Health Promotion or related field, preferably at a post-graduate level</li>
<li>Impressive experience working in fields related to Public Health, or Health Promotion research or programs</li>
<li>Strong demonstrable research/project management experience</li>
<li>Renowned communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Experience with coordination or delivery of courses or training programs</li>
<li>Ability to work with multiple systems, project monitoring and reporting.</li>

Here at VicHealth we have an amazing career opportunity as a Coordinator, Policy located within our Policy &amp; Government Relations team.
Reporting directly to our Manager, Policy &amp; Government Relations, you will work across the organisation, as well as externally to contribute to our policy development platform, aiming to create a Victoria where everyone can enjoy better health and wellbeing.
Day to day tasks will include drafting and coordinating policy documents, submissions, briefings and other government-related activities.
You&rsquo;ll be comfortable developing and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including government minsters and representatives.
Drawing on your well-developed project management skills, you will also coordinate various projects to ensure project specific milestones are met.
You will have initiative, be able to problem solve, and be able to demonstrate how you have worked collaboratively within a strong team environment and contributed to a constructive and impact-focussed culture.
You will be highly driven, with a can-do attitude and a systems-based mindset, and be comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced working environment.

<h3>Qualifications and experience required:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Relevant qualification at Advanced Diploma level and/or strong demonstrable experience working as a project/policy officer</li>
<li>Experience working within the public health, community or government sectors preferred</li>
<li>Experience working in fields related to health promotion policy and practice</li>
<li>Strong relationship management experience, with government relationship management experience preferred</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Experience working in project management, with contract management experience desirable.</li>
