Due to company growth in Adelaide, we are looking for an Employment Mentor to support our clients in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide with discovering and exploring their career pathways.

The role:

This role is casual, and hours will vary between 15-18 hours per week.

Working week is Mon-Fri, no weekends unless by prior arrangement.

Tools of the trade provided such as laptop and phone.

The role is remote and requires travel to and from various locations in Adelaide South, to support our clients.

Reports directly to the State Manager South Australia

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Experience dealing with a broad cross-section of stakeholders, and strong stakeholder management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy and fast paced environment while maintaining a customer service focus and confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office / CRM's highly regarded.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work with adaptability and maturity.
  • Ability to source new stakeholder relationships for employment opportunities.
  • Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle with fully comprehensive insurance for local travel
  • Cert III or IV in a community services or disability studies is highly regarded.
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) and Working with Children check (WWC) is to be obtained at your own expense. Due to NDIS requirements, we are unable to employ for this role without an NDISWC. We therefore strongly encourage applicants to commence the NDISWC prior to interviews, as clearance can take up to 4 weeks.
