In this permanent, part time position (9 days per fortnight) you'll work within a team to provide specialist support to children and their families within the DFV refuge program. You'll provide intervention and support to children who have witnessed DFV and collaborate with their carer, implementing 54 Reasons Child iView framework. As part of the SEQ DFV Refuge team, you'll work shifts from 8:30am - 4:30pm weekdays and report to a Team Leader.

You have experience within the domestic and family violence sector and are passionate about children's rights. You know how to respond well in crisis and how to work with children who have experienced trauma. You're able to work independently and take initiative while working within the role boundaries.
It is a genuine requirement of this position that it be filled by a woman as permitted in sections 25, 104 and 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act, 1991.
