In this full time, permanent role, you'll focus on provision of a range of specialist interventions to children and young people who have witnessed or have been victims of domestic and/or family violence and sexual abuse. Based in Mount Isa, you'll be a key part of our Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Service.
You're an experienced child and adolescent practitioner who is passionate about supporting families within a child centred, strengths-based framework. Importantly, you have a strong understanding of the impact of trauma on children and their families and you're keenly aware of the additional impacts and barriers experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
