At ACSO, we look for people who believe in second chances, who share our values and are passionate about supporting people to thrive. If all of this sounds like you, read on!
The Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) is a vibrant, values driven NFP, focused on partnering with Government and the community to co-design services that create real social change. We are an organisation with a bold vision to create a safe and inclusive community where prison truly is the last resort. Our purpose is to strengthen the wellbeing of our communities by advocating for and delivering services which divert people away from the justice system.
The Australian Community Support Organisation recognises the right to a safe and inclusive service without bias. ACSO is committed to the equitable treatment of its participants, employees and partners. We believe in humanity and celebrating the diverse voices of our community through leadership, practice and policy design, to honour and embrace diverse traditions, cultures and experiences of those we support and work alongside.
As a Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in our organisation's mission. Your responsibilities are diverse and impactful, encompassing the creation of compelling written content across various channels to support our vision, raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and drive action.
You'll be tasked with creating persuasive copy for a wide range of communication platforms, including marketing materials, grant applications, website content, social media posts, newsletters, and more.
Working closely with the Service Design and Improvement team, you'll contribute your expertise to grant applications and leverage the insights gained to develop thought leadership pieces, media releases, and social media posts. Collaborating with our Equity and Inclusion Manager, you'll develop content for both internal and external use, aimed at raising awareness and encouraging engagement in our campaigns.
Beyond crafting compelling copy, you'll actively manage social media channels, posting content, and collaborating with our Communications Manager on initiatives aimed at elevating our brand and improving media engagement.
Your role as a Copywriter is pivotal in effectively conveying ACSO's message, values, and impact, serving as the driving force to inspire and connect with our target audience.
If you think you'd be a great fit - we'd love to hear from you!
