About the Opportunity

The Executive Officer provides critical and timely support to the General Manager (GM) – Teaching and School Leadership through high level strategic advice and research into the development, implementation, monitoring and communication of various projects across the GM’s portfolio.

Acting as the adjutant to the GM; you will have a whole organisation perspective across the GM’s portfolio; proactively planning, advising and anticipating key work and priorities for the team. This may include:

  • Coordinating and responding to all reporting requests tracking progress and anticipating needs
  • Providing advice and recommendations to the GM on key pieces of work
  • Representing the GM on various projects and liaising with stakeholders
  • Maintaining and developing knowledge and awareness of key educational issues.

We are looking for an individual who has a strategic mindset and enjoys working in a multi-faceted, fast paced environment and wants to make an impact in Australian education.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, coupled with the ability to work across an organisation where you are able to use your expertise and knowledge to proactively plan and respond to various requests. You are proactive, seek to find solutions and are exceptional in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
