ANTaR Victoria is seeking a determined, efficient, thorough administrator to coordinate volunteers, implement the Committee’s plan, administer our online store and develop relationships with stakeholders around our strategic campaign issues.
We are the Victoria affiliate of National non-indigenous advocacy organisation – campaigning for the rights, justice and respect of Australia’s First Peoples. We launched in 1997, with Australia’s largest outdoor art installation – The Sea of Hands. Our aim was to defend the principles established by the Mabo and Wik judgments from Government changes. Since then we have been a dynamic and effective partner of the larger movement. Our current strategic campaigns include: A Smarter and Fairer Justice System in Victoria, Treaty agreements and Constitutional Recognition. While also broadly promoting respect, tolerance and harmony.
ANTaR Victoria is also known for our program of affordable and accessible acknowledgment of Traditional Owners through the iconic yellow acknowledgment plaques.
