The Australasian Society for HIV, Viral Hepatitis and Sexual Health Medicine (ASHM) is a professional, not-for-profit, member based organisation. It supports its members, sector partners and collaborators to generate knowledge and action in clinical management and research, education, policy and advocacy in Australasia and internationally.

About you

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer plays a key role in supporting improvement and implementation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities within the National Policy and Education Division.

Selection Criteria

  • At least 2 years' experience in M&E, preferably in an organisational M&E context
  • Demonstrated application of qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships at an operational and strategic level.
  • Ability to work independently to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write concisely and persuasively in a range of formats, including reports to funders.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the principles of EEO, WHS, cultural diversity and ethical practice.
  • Desire to work in a fair, equitable and non-judgemental environment particularly with people infected/affected by HIV, viral hepatitis and related diseases.

Benefits

ASHM provides a very flexible and supportive working environment, including working from home. Key benefits include time off in lieu, leave loading and access to non-taxable fringe benefit salary packaging options. The base salary range is $69,094 per annum to $73,920 per annum, including 10% superannuation, salary packaging & leave loading the total remuneration range is $85,828 per annum to $91,136 per annum, based on the candidate's previous level of experience in this type of position.
